Deepika Padukone was born on January 5, 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Deepika Padukone's father's name is Prakash Padukone and her mother's name is Ujjala Padukone. Her father is an international badminton player. She has a sister Anisha who is a professional golfer.

In 2018, in the third collaboration with Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Deepika Padukone plays the role of "Rajput Rani Padmavati", in which Jawahar Ki Jawhar is in the drama film Padmavat to save herself from a Muslim invader "Alauddin Khilji".
